“As first-time buyers, we had a lot of unanswered questions regarding the purchase of our home. Thank you for providing the answers to many of these and giving us informed advice on the homes that we visited!”
– Ann Smith

Here’s what buying a home looks like with me:

We all know that buying a home will, more than likely, be the largest financial investment you’ll ever make. Which is why the first step to buying a home is to meet with a real estate agent and then a mortgage broker, where you qualify and get pre-approved for a mortgage. If you aren’t already connected with a trusted mortgage broker, I can confidently recommend several for you to choose from.

Next, we’ll narrow our focus on your next home. Where are you thinking of buying a home? What type of home are you most interested in? We’ll prioritize your needs and wants to find a home that best suits your lifestyle, and I’ll use my connections in the neighbourhood to see what’s coming up on the market and see who’s thinking of selling to get you a step ahead of other buyers.

Now comes the fun part: seeing the homes. I’ll be there with you to see each property and to advise you on key features or issues to take into consideration.

Once you’ve found a home you love, we’ll discuss our offer strategy. I’ll determine the maximum value of the property and pull a list of comparable homes in the area to ensure you get the best price possible.

When we put together your offer, I’ll review each detail with you so that you feel confident and comfortable with your decision. Once the offer is presented, I will monitor all activities and negotiate in your best interest.

I’ll advise you through the completion of the Purchase Agreement, and can refer you to other professionals, including lawyers, home inspectors, and appraisers. Once the deal is closed, I’ll be there for any further advice you need on the neighbourhood, moving services, or home improvement suggestions.
